Lagree

High intensity. Low impact. Seriously effective.

Lagree is a full-body fitness method designed to build strength, endurance, stability, and mobility through slow, controlled movements and sustained muscle tension.

Unlike traditional strength training, Lagree challenges your body through time under tension. You move deliberately, work through a deep range of motion, and hold positions that ask your muscles to stay engaged for longer. The result is a workout that feels deceptively simple at first, then leaves you shaking.

At the centre of the method is the Megaformer, a specialized machine that uses springs, resistance, moving platforms, and handles to create hundreds of ways to challenge the body. Every movement can be adjusted to change the resistance, stability, range of motion, and intensity, making Lagree adaptable to different bodies and fitness levels.

And because the movements are slow and controlled, there’s no need for high-impact jumping or heavy loads to create a serious challenge. Lagree puts the focus on how you move, not how much you lift.

What makes Lagree different?

full body, every time

Lagree combines strength, cardio, core work, balance, and endurance into one 45-minute workout. You’ll move through a series of exercises designed to challenge multiple muscle groups at once, with particular attention to your core and stabilizing muscles.

low impact, high intensity.

Your heart rate rises and your muscles work hard without repetitive impact on your joints. It’s intense, but the intensity comes from resistance, control, and time under tension.

slow doesn’t
mean easy.

Lagree is built around controlled movement. Rather than rushing through repetitions, you stay present in the movement and keep your muscles engaged. That’s where the shake comes in.

more than a workout

At The Third, we believe the best kind of fitness is something you actually want to come back to.

Our studio takes inspiration from the idea of the third place: the space outside of home and work where people gather, connect, and become part of a community.

We created The Third around that same idea. A place to move, sweat, challenge yourself, and see familiar faces. A place where you can walk in not knowing anyone and eventually feel like you know everyone.

We’re a queer and women-owned studio founded by two friends with a shared love of the Lagree Method and a belief that fitness can be both seriously effective and genuinely welcoming.

Come for the workout. Stay for the feeling.

This is The Third.
